National Stakeholder Forum

For more information, please contact Jabeer Butt or Ratna Dutt

The National Stakeholder Forum provides a 'long-term, strategic view in supporting development and implementation of policies in health and care outcomes'.  The Forum meets twice a year, with extra meetings as required, and is intended to provide 'rapid, frank feedback and early advice on emerging policy'.  Meetings may also be held in partnership with other Department of Health networks, including the Strategic Partners.

The Forum is led by Andrew Lansley, Secretary of State for Health, and members come from a variety of health, social care and public health backgrounds.  Membership is fixed for an initial term of two years and is by personal invitiation from the Secretary of State only (see membership list: external website).

For further information, please see the Department of Health (external website).
