Health professionals should 'make every contact count', say Future Forum reports

Health professionals should make every contact with patients count, according to new recommendations from the Future Forum.  Set up to assess reforms to the NHS, the Future Forum has published a series of reports to summarise the results of its second stage of consultation with patients, service users and professionals.  Looking at information, integration, education and the role of the NHS in public health, the reports highlight a number of issues including patient access to their records, the need to reward quality training and development at all levels, and the role of health and wellbeing boards in driving local integration.
