HealthWatch website launched!

A new website has been launched to provide information and guidance during the implementation of Healthwatch England, ahead of the launch in October 2012.  The website will provide a number of tools to help with the establishment of the HealthWatch network, including a guide to branding for local authorities, to help to raise awareness of the new structures within the HealthWatch remit.  CQC are also currently carrying out a survey on the new site.

HealthWatch have also announced the appointment of Anna Bradley, a past Chief Executive of The National Consumer Council and experienced regulator, as their chair.  More information about Anna's appointment is available from the Department of Health (external website).
