'One square mile of land could provide legal pitches for 5000 Gypsy-Traveller families'

A report into the housing needs of Gypsy-Travellers has suggested that an increase in the number of legal sites for Gypsy-Travellers could increase standard of living amongst these groups, ultimately decreasing costs in terms of access to health and social care services and evictions from illegal sites.
