Networking Conference: Supporting black and minority ethnic fathers in their parenting role - 2 December 2005 (London) and 20 February 2006 (Leeds)

REU in collaboration with Working with Men, the Boys2Men project of Coram Family and the Children's Society are working on a project looking at parenting support for black and minority ethnic fathers.

The aims of the networking conference are:

  • To provide an opportunity for organisations to discuss issues facing Asian, African and Caribbean fathers;
  • To share information on successful ways of working with this group of fathers, and
  • To facilitate a discussion to establish a Network of organisations supporting black and minority ethnic fathers.
The conference provides delegates with the opportunity to hear about successful work with Asian, African and Caribbean fathers. The day also provides a forum to discuss parenting issues for these fathers as well as issues for organisations providing or wishing to provide support to them.

For further information and to request a booking form contact Tracey Bignall at REU on 020 7619 6225/Email tracey@racefound.org.uk
