The Yes We Can conference provided an overview of evidence on learning difficulties and ethnicity as it relates to key themes in the areas of transitions:
- from children services to adult services
- employment
- relationships, having a family and becoming a parent
- moving up – becoming a leader, having a national profile
- developing self–help, advocacy and support
