Race Equality Foundation invited to meet with Paul Burstow to discuss health reforms

The Race Equality Foundation have been invited to meet with the Minister of State for Care Services, Paul Burstow, as part of their capacity as a Department of Health Strategic Partner. Joining a workshop to discuss reforms to the health and care system, the group will focus upon bringing localism to the core of the reforms, ensuring local health needs are met through partnership working and the establishment of Health and Wellbeing Boards. The group will exploit local experience and models to produce a set of best practice guidance for Health and Wellbeing Boards, Joint Strategic Needs Assessments and Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategies.
The outcomes of this meeting will be reported in due course.
