The Race Equality Foundation are partners in a coalition chosen by the Department of Education for their Overarching Strategic Partnership programme.  The programme is designed to strengthen and support the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector serving children, young people and families by sharing best practice, learning, and advice and by facilitating communication between the DfE and third sector.

The coalition is led by Children England and includes Community Matters, NVCYS, NAVCA, and the Social Enterprise Coalition. As part of the programme of work the Race Equality Foundation will lead on promoting diversity within the programme of activities to the sector, as well as evaluating the impact of the strategic partnership programme on organisations working with children, young people and families.
