Race Equality Foundation to take part in Regional Voices' third sector reference group

Regional Voices has recently established a working group on 'GP Commissioning, the Third Sector & Big Society' through Voluntary Sector North West.  This group aims to look at the issues surrounding commissioning support for GP consortia and to establish some practical solutions within the sector.  They then hope to cascade the learning from working group discussions to a broader national audience with the help of Department of Health strategic partners.  In order to involve as many third sector colleagues as possible and to ensure accountability, the group are now establishing a third sector reference group, linked to the overall group.

The first meeting of the third sector reference group will take place on the 14th March in Manchester.  Jennifer Rosenberg will attend this meeting on behalf of the Race Equality Foundation.
