This interim report was produced as part of the Race Equality Foundation's role as a Department of Health Strategic Partner.  It gives the findings of a brief survey conducted with  PCTs, and some ITS providers and service users, about interpreting and translation services in the UK.  The survey asked respondents to report:

• how they are currently commissioning services
• how these services are run
• how well they function
• any changes that are likely to happen in the context of restructuring in health care and budget cuts.
