Partnership for Better Health: Practice guide

The aim of this project was to assist primary care trusts (PCTs) in addressing a local health inequality issue through partnership working with black and minority ethnic organisations and the local authority. The intention was to improve access and use of health services by black and minority ethnic communities, at the same time, as enabling better partnership working with minority ethnic organisations to help embed equality in service provision and, improve the quality of support available to these communities.  Between 2008 and 2011 the project worked with seven primary care trusts.
