Facilitator training
In order to deliver the programme, facilitators have to undergo substantial training lasting five days. In this, facilitators learn the programme concepts and are introduced to a step by step guide. The training is experiential and facilitators explore the impact of culture and values on how they were raised and on their own child rearing attitudes and behaviour. Facilitators also receive copies of the following materials:
- Facilitators manual;
- Overheads; and
- parent manual.
Trainings take place several times a year. And the cost of five days training, plus all materials is currently £975 per person.
It is possible for agencies to purchase a complete training for a staff group rather than register for individual places.
